Lovely country park with great walks. Fairy land for kids, old buildings to run around. Plenty of free car parking. Lovely woodlands, duck pond and small shop selling crafty things. Cafe has small menu, we didn't eat there because we were looking for something more substantial. Museum closed during winter. Fantastic for walks.
Beautiful country park, a great place for a day out, for a walk or a picnic with friends or family (there are tables and benches around area) great for kids of all ages, dog friendly. There is also a museum and a coffee shop where you can have a nice meal or just a nice cup of coffee or tea and a cake. Suitable place for a day out in any season or weather conditions. Boots, brolly and waterproof outfit recommended for rainy days and gloves scarf and warm clothing in winter.
Great park to visit but there are no public toilets open in the winter months. Absolutely ridiculous. The park is open from 10am to 5pm but the three toilet blocks are all locked. Your only option is to buy something from the cafe in order to use their toilets. The council should have toilets open at least for the parks opening hours.
A lovely day out plenty to see and do. A great little cafe and a Brill museum. Great for the children. A lovely walk through the gardens and a big park for the children. Donation parking a lots of space. Great for the dogs to run around. Very interesting and lots to learn. Grab the wild raspberries on your walk a real treat!
A lovely place to visit. Pathways through wooded areas and lots of open grass all very well kept, plenty of parking too. A museum of farming life, which I have yet to visit. A lovely cafe offering tasty lunch, coffee and cakes to sit inside, out or take away. All in all well worth a visit for families, dog walking or just a pleasant few hours relaxation.
